These terms are the agreement between you and Cinema Watch. Please read them before you use the service.
Last updated: September 19, 2026
By creating an account or using Cinema Watch (the “service”), you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Cinema Watch. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have a parent or guardian's permission.
You keep ownership of what you post, such as reviews, ratings, comments, lists and profile details (“your content”). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and distribute your content so we can run the service, including showing it to other users as your settings allow. This licence ends when you delete your content or account, except for copies that other users have already shared and backups we keep for a limited time.
You are responsible for your content. You confirm that you have the right to post it and that it does not break the law or anyone else's rights.
You agree not to:
We may review, hide or remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these terms, are unlawful, or put the service or its users at risk. Where we can, we will tell you why.
Titles, posters, descriptions and related details come from third-party sources and belong to their owners. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. We do not guarantee that this information is complete or accurate.
We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement. To report content, use the copyright complaint link in the footer of the site, or email hello@cinema-watch.com. Please include:
If we remove your content after a complaint and you believe that was a mistake, you can send us a counter-notice at the same address. We may close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright.
We work to keep Cinema Watch available, but we provide it as it is. We may change, suspend or stop any part of it, and we may not always be able to give notice. The service may contain links to other websites that we do not control and are not responsible for.
You can stop using the service at any time and can ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@cinema-watch.com. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as those on content licences, disclaimers and liability, continue after your account ends.
To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors. Some places do not allow certain exclusions, so some of these may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Cinema Watch and the people who run it are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new “last updated” date and, for significant changes, tell you in the service or by email. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
