Blind virtually from birth, Stevie was born in 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan. His commercial breakthrough was in 1972, when he released his masterpiece Talking Book. In 1976, his double album Songs in The Key Of Life became a milestone in music history. Based on the material of those two albums, Stevie played this celebrated concert at the legendary Nippon Budokan Hall in Tokyo , Japan.
