Businessman Fouda marries Nahid without having children, and the couple adopts a gift from a shelter to move from a life of homelessness to wealth. Nahid asks for a divorce from her husband Tariq after he cheated on her with his friend's wife. The painter Maher, a family friend, encourages her to do so. Heba pushes her lover, the driver Hassan, to kill Nahid after discovering that she is an adopted child.
